1. Select according to the model
Extruders can be divided into different types according to different structures, transmission modes and functional uses, including oil pressure, water pressure, vertical, horizontal, forward extrusion, reverse extrusion, etc. when selecting the type of extruder, the type and use of aluminum alloy can be used as a reference, such as 6063-T5 industrial aluminum profile extrusion, forward single acting horizontal extruder can be selected; For extruding soft alloy pipes, positive double acting horizontal extruder can be selected. Enterprises should choose the appropriate extruder according to their own production and economic conditions. In actual industrial production, the positive single acting horizontal oil press is the most widely used.
2. Select according to extrusion capacity
After determining the type of extruder, it is necessary to choose the extrusion capacity of the extruder. According to the capacity, the extruder can be divided into heavy-duty, large-scale, medium-sized and small-scale extruders. The extrusion capacity should be calculated by calculating the annual production time, hourly workload and other parameters according to its own production conditions, technical level, equipment conditions and sales conditions, Because the size of output and section size determine which extruder to choose, the extrusion capacity required by different alloy components is also different. The extrusion pressure required for ordinary aluminum profile is 250-400mpa, that required for hollow aluminum profile is 450-1000mpa, and that required for pure aluminum extrusion is 150-250mpa. There are also great differences in extrusion methods. The extrusion force required for forward extrusion is 1/3 larger than that for reverse extrusion.
3. Select according to the grade of extruder
When the type and extrusion capacity of the previous two extruders are determined, it is necessary to determine the grade of the extruder. It should be determined according to the product positioning and capital budget of the aluminum profile manufacturer. If the aluminum profile products produced by the enterprise are medium-grade, domestic extruders can be selected; If it is positioned as a high-end product, it is necessary to choose an imported extruder.
