First, the mould must be polished and polished before the machine is started, and the working belt usually needs polishing to mirror. Check the flatness and straightness of the mold operation belt before installation. The quality of nitriding determines the polishing finish of the working belt to a certain extent. It is necessary to clean the mold cavity with high-pressure air and brush, and there shall be no dust or impurities. Otherwise, it is easy to pull the operation belt under the surge of metal flow, so that the kneaded profile goods have the disadvantages of thick surface or scribed line.

The accurate method is to place the mold in the air at 100 ° - 150 ° C after unloading the mold, and then immerse it in alkaline water.

Because the operating conditions of kneading die are very bad, reasonable methods must be adopted to ensure the arrangement function of die in kneading production.
5、 In the early stage of kneading die application, it is necessary to carry out reasonable surface nitriding treatment process for the die. The surface nitriding treatment can greatly improve the surface hardness of the die on the premise of maintaining sufficient tolerance, so as to reduce the thermal wear during the application of the die. It should be noted that the surface nitriding can not be completed at one time. It is necessary to carry out repeated nitriding treatment for 3-4 times during the service of the die. Usually, the thickness of the nitriding layer is required to reach 0.15mm.
